Creating Jobs for the homeless and unemployed.
The KG Foundation believes that true success is creating a
life that helps others reach their full potential. The homeless and unemployed will
always be among us. It is up to us as a community, church and individuals to
help them with needs we may take for granted. The KG Foundation has come up
with a program that will help them earn money by creating jobs for them within our
own community. This will help to motivate themselves in possibly getting off
the street and reaching their full potential.
Money raised from selling cases of water goes to creating jobs for the homeless and unemployed. This program, which is designed for us to have the ability to pay them for their time effort and services within the community, gives us the ability to do so. They will aide us in picking up trash and leaves to cleaning trash cans within the neighborhood and streets. We will pay them in the form of gift cards not cash form establishments such as (i.e. Subway, Vons and Ralphs). This will help them to bring money to themselves as well as their own families in need.
Toiletries items are items we may take for granted daily. This is another form of the program that we can help in donations in raising money that can go to aiding of the homeless and unemployed. We will use their assistance in asking for donations as well as creating these care packages in key locations to distributed throughout the community. The creation of these care packages once completed will be handed out to the homeless and unemployed in need.
One of our biggest and major goals is to bring portable showers to the homeless. By raising enough funds to do so, I want you to envision a trailer with portable showers upon it going around within their encampments allowing them to take a nice warm shower. With the help of the community, churches and individuals that want to help, this is truly a reality that can be accomplished. A warm shower is something we may all take for granted.
