KG Sports Training is a non-profit 501(c) 3, organization that has a mission statement to help maximize the student/athlete and future entrepreneurs potential.
Some of the many services the foundation does is from creating player career portfolios, to personal training for the athletes to become a rounded athletic player. KG Sports can create a situation where your travel ball fees that you pay are not only a tax write off but a portion of the fees actually go towards starting up your sons and or daughters college and or business funds. Finally, and most important, is bringing devotionals and the word of God to youth teams about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Due to the rise in athletic scholarships needed and the increase of available information for college coaches, the recruiting process is starting earlier than ever before. According to the NCAA, college coaches are starting to identify 7th and 8th graders as recruits and are even starting to offer scholarships to prospects before their freshman year.
We at KG Sports aid in exposing all athletes to private high schools as well as colleges. Within the foundation we can assist in the process of choosing the right private high school or college for you. With that said each athlete will be a part of our underclassmen baseball pre-showcase which takes place in June of every year and played at one of the California League Minor League baseball fields. Their are two games played for Freshman and JV players, as well as the athletes who play varsity baseball.
Sundays have become just another day at the ball park. Sundays were designed to be spent praising and glorifying our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. KG Sports will come to your next game and help bring His word to your youth and families with a fun game like devotional that helps keep there interest within His word.
